On Thursday 17.10.2018 Master Students of Innovation and Management in Tourism, together with their lecturer, FH-Prof. Dr. Barbara Neuhofer were invited to visit and experience Munich International Airport (MUC).

The students attend the 3rd semester course ‘Service Design’ and study service design thinking, tools and methods.

The day at MUC airport was a great excursion to explore, learn and have fun, and explore how ‘customer journeys’ and ‘personas’ can be put into practice.

Students were divided into consultancy groups, each dedicated to look at a different area of the airport – from arrivals, specific terminals to departure. The final results of the class were presented in front of representatives of Munich Airport in Salzburg in January 2019
